fishynuts.com is all about creating unique designs (for the discriminating tee wearer), that stand out from the crowd and we try to have fun, in the process.
Chris - Our Head of IT Department, he has a flair for doing brainy-cool things with computers and stuff...and lives in a house that has no grass in the yard...yet. In his spare time, Chris enjoys "pimping out his ride" and all things car related. He is also into crotch-rockets, anime and loves to eat. His favorite color is toast. |
Dee Dee - With a head for numbers and a College degree, this beautiful and talented Southern Belle can "juggle the books," like nobodys business! She is the Head of Accounting at fishynuts, a former model and a Sci/Fi geek with a heart of gold. Dee Dee has a passion for gardening and coffee (seriously). Her favorite color is lavender. |
James - An artist from the womb (it has been said, as a fetus, he left “cave drawings” behind), his endeavors have led him from advertising, to writing, to acting, to doing special make-up effects for film and voice-over work, as well. Now, our resident creative force, James is “large and in charge” of the fishynuts Art Department. He loves to cook, too! |
fishynuts conquers the 2007 Motor City Comic Con:
Here are a few photos (of our booth and a couple of those, aforementioned, "discriminating tee wearers"), at the 2007 Motor City Comic Con!
Our booth was located almost smack dab in the middle of the Rock Financial Building, between the other dealer/vendors and the Con guests. It was a great location, due to the fact that we got to hang out and chat with several celebrities (Bruce Weitz, you are "THE MAN!"), throughout the weekend. |
Here are Chris (Head - brains and all - of the IT Department), Delana (our Senior Accountant and all around groovy chic!) and James (ever so modestly talented Head of the Art Department), standing in front of our banner. James is buddies with Gunnar Hansen (you can spot the display on the table), which is how we were so fortunate as to have some of our shirts, personally signed by the one-and-only: "LEATHERFACE!" Thanks again, Big Guy!!! :) |
This is Chris, posing with one of our customers, who is wearing our "Stew of the Dead" design. We were amazed at how many people enjoy that design! So many folks would mention that they have: "...got a friend, who would just love that shirt..!" So, they would buy it (for their absent friend) and the next day, lo-and-behold, in comes the friend...wearing our shirt! What a kick that is! :D With a few people, walking around in our shirts, word soon spread throughout the Con and we became the Hub of T-Shirtdom! lol Thanks you guys! |
Next up, is a woman wearing our "VAMPIRES SUCK (and they pretty much all swallow)," tee. She was a sweet lady and we just wanted to thank her, again, for letting us snap her picture! |
| We at fishynuts.com, would like to thank everyone who stopped by our booth...especially those of you, who purchased shirts and helped get our name out there! We had a blast meeting everyone and we are looking forward to next years show! Also, a shout out to the gang at Motor City Conventions and the Rock Financial Showplace, for being so cool and making our first Con, a splendifferous experience!!! |
